Friday, May 2, 2008 Kim Cook, 800 meters Kim Cook is an artist from La Grange, Texas. She graduated in May with a BFA in studio art from Sam Houston State University and is now attending the Art Institute of San Francisco pursuing her MFA.
Kim Cook Video Still from 800 meters 800 meters is a video installation with projections and sound. Cook shot video both above and under water to recreate a kind of meditative state that is experienced during continual repetitive action.
